Toastmasters Club

 "Together, I Can!"

who?The MCC Toastmasters Club was founded in 2003 to help people develop their public speaking and leadership skills. The club is open to Monroe Community College faculty, staff, students and alumni. The club is based in Rochester, N.Y. and its meetings are held every second and fourth Tuesday of the month in the R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center. Our meetings begin at 5:00 pm and end promptly at 6:15 pm.

Guests are always welcome!

Our goal is to provide an inviting and supportive meeting atmosphere where members can focus on achieving their unique goals. Our "Together, I Can" motto emphasizes the importance of developing skills and achieving mutual goals with the help of fellow members. We follow the standard meeting agenda set by Toastmasters InternationalEach meeting gives everyone an opportunity to practice conducting meetings, giving impromptu speeches, presenting prepared speeches and offering constructive evaluation.
